Leanna Hao is a 4th-year Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering student at University of California, Irvine. With an interest in aerospace, she hopes to help with materials development and research in the Aerospace field. She has a particular interest in powder-based additive manufacturing. In her free time she likes to draw and play on the piano.

Hannah Silos is a 4th-year Biomedical Engineering student graduating in the spring. For two years, she has done imaging research under Dr. Brian Wong at the Beckman Laser Institute. She has a passion for design and a strong interest in imaging and diagnostic technologies. In her free time, she finds joy in art, storytelling, and the Classic Tetris community.

Mark Takehana is a 4th-year Materials Science & Engineering student with a specialization in Mechanical Design. Mark is interested most in battery systems for electric vehicles. Despite specializing in electric vehicles, he retains a general interest in gizmos, gadgets, do-dads, and thingamabobs. He is the evolved version of Nima Afshar.

Angela Hsiao is a 5th-year Materials Science and Engineering student at UC Irvine. She is interested in sustainablity and green energy, and wants to help create a carbon neutral world. She enjoys reading, playing piano, and singing along to musicals when she has free time.

Nima Afshar is a 4th-year Biomedical Engineering student graduating in Spring 2021. His primary interests in the field of biomedical engineering are in medical devices, surgery tools, orthopedics, and biomedical materials. Fun fact: He is a hot sauce connoisseur, and his favorite comedians are Dave Chappelle and Larry David.

Janay Bombino is a 4th-year Materials Science & Engineering student with a specialization in Structural Design. Because of her passion for space exploration, she hopes to work on space applications that will contribute to space infrastructure and manufacturing, helping humans get one step closer to becoming interplanetary. Special interests include: science communication, public policy, and finding the perfect oyster.
